After completing her Masters in Film Studies at the University of Amsterdam, Aslı Bildirici ended up as a production manager in the commercial department of production company 100% for 4 years. When her first script was a semi-finalist in the international drama competition ScreenCraft in 2020, she decided to focus on creating her own stories. Her films are deeply inspired by her culture as a Turkish woman and find a balance between drama, humor and politics. Her debut short “Rotten” premiered at Tallinn Black Nights International Film Festival.
