Emily Downe is an award-winning animation director from London. Her films explore research-driven themes, from science and philosophy to societal challenges and the human story, expressed through 2D, frame by frame animation. She is co-founder and co-director of Studio Desk, as well as working with Theos to create films that poetically explore rich research and ideas about the world we live in. She has screened films at multiple international film festivals including Annecy, Encounters, Ann Arbor, Cinanima and Aesthetica. She completed her MA Animation at the RCA in 2019.
