Fanny Capu is an animation director and self-taught model maker from Germany. After gaining experience on live-action sets in Berlin as a prop assistant, she moved to the United Kingdom to complete a BA in Animation at the University of Staffordshire. Following her graduation, she took a role at Aardman as a junior puppet maker, working on Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl among other projects. She was then accepted onto the MA Directing Animation course at The National Film & Television School. He graduation film Pickled, was selected for the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
