Laura wrote and directed her debut short NO PLACE in December 2018 and was selected as an emerging filmmaker as part of a mentoring scheme funded by Skillset UK and the BFI. In 2019 she completed a course in Directing the Visual Story, in Central Film School, London. In 2021 Laura directed THE RADIO, a short film funded by Ardan and RTÉ. In 2023 she returned to Ireland and was selected in Screen Ireland to be mentored by Director Lenny Abrahamson.
