Levi Stoops (*1990) lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. After graduating from RITCS (Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema & Sound) as an animation director he worked as a cook to provide for himself while writing his first animation short. During this time his graduation short 'D: 729' was selected at a number of festivals worldwide. His debut short film, ‘Drijf’ won the Jury Award at the 2023 Annecy Animation Film Festival and has been going round the festival circuit ever since. Now he made ‘Klonter’, his second short film as a professional director.
