Matthew is a producer and director based in Bristol. He mainly makes feature documentaries, often about cinema. Most recently he produced Made In England: The Films of Powell and Pressburger (2024, Berlin Film Festival), which was narrated by executive producer Martin Scorsese. He also directed Frank Capra: Mr America (2023, Venice Film Festival), and produced Misha and the Wolves (2021, Sundance Film Festival). His shorts include Never Just A Dream, about Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, which premiered at Venice in 2019.
