Myles Kamwedo is a Welsh born, Bristol bred actor best known for playing the role Omar in the BBC Three comedy-drama Boarders (2024-2026). He is set to appear in two-time Palmes d’Or winner and Encounters alumnus Ruben Östlund’s The Entertainment System Is Down. Alongside acting, Kamwendo writes and directs with his brother Tadiwanashe. Drawn to character led stories that balance humour with the complexities of relationships, he made his directorial debut with the BIFA Qualifying short film Why You Shouldn’t Date In Bristol and is developing his next one title: Enamel Paint.
