Piaoyu Xie is a Chinese filmmaker based between Shanghai and Europe. She holds an MFA in Directing from FAMU in Prague. Her short films have been presented at international festivals including Palm Springs International ShortFest, BFI Flare and the Iris Prize, among many others, while All of Me was named a Coup de Cœur at the Cannes Short Film Corner. Her debut feature, The Ugly Mandarine, is currently in post-production. She is also developing her second feature project, Instant Desire.
