Rachel MacLean is a filmmaker based in Edinburgh and recent graduate from Screen Academy Scotland's MA Film masters, where she specialised in Directing. She's drawn to stories that explore close, intricate relationships, often between family members, and she has a particular interest in reflecting on the experiences of women. She's recently joined the Sean Connery Talent Lab cohort of 2026/2027 as a writer/ director.
