Winston Hacking is a moving image artist who combines found footage, collage, compositing, and tactile animation. While his materials and techniques are deliberately economical, his finished pieces achieve a remarkable complexity by transforming the mundane into the sublime through creative re-contextualization. His films have been shown at festivals for experimental animation, including Videoex (Zurich), the Lausanne Underground Film Festival and the Ottawa International Animation Festival, where he served as a member of the Official Competition Jury in 2025.
