12 writers from across the UK will present their early stage works.
Four BFI NETWORK Hubs teamed up with the ScreenSkills Animation Skills Fund to create a new lab for writers to develop, experiment and expand their skills and understanding of storytelling in animation. Over the last 3 months, these 12 writers from across the UK have developed their original short form projects and will be sharing them for the first time at this special festival presentation.
These bold projects offer a range of perspectives, moving between feminist sci-fi and heightened comedy, to tales of magical realism and playful fable.
The writers will be looking for potential collaborators as they step into the next stages of development.
