Ana Sanchez and her mother Silvia share a very Latina bond - warm, playful, and steeped in guilt. But Silvia suffers from a rare illness that’s slowly turning her into a giant silverfish. As Ana bends to her mother’s escalating needs, her own life begins to unravel. The longer she avoids setting boundaries, the closer she comes to doing something she'll regret.
