Blending traditional Irish folklore with the modern struggle of addiction, The Cure follows Aoife, an insecure smoker desperate to quit. Returning home to rural Ireland, she seeks out Liam Finnegan, a reclusive seventh son of a seventh son renowned for possessing the gift of “The Cure.” But when Liam's attempt to help goes disastrously wrong, Aoife's addiction takes on a terrifying physical form: a sinister creature that feeds on her cravings and threatens to consume her entirely.
