Aaron Trinder is an award winning writer, director and producer working in narrative and documentary and founder of Trinder Films. He’s directed short films, been second unit on feature films and his current focus is on narratively rich feature documentary films. His first feature doc 'Free Party: A Folk History' won jury honourable mention award and the audience award at Doc N Roll Film Festival 2023, best music doc at Portobello Film festival and was official selections at CPH DOX, Seeyousound Turin, Antenna, running for over 2 years at over 150 other international festivals. Having gained considerable experience with alternative methods of fundraising and distribution his next project, as producer, is ‘Dirty Squatters’, continuing his interest in cultural history, alternative cultures and subcultures. He’s also developing a number of other projects within this space.
