Cami Kwan is a Chinese-American stop motion director who creates stories exploring emotions, identity, and culture for young audiences. Drawing on her queer and mixed-race experience, she specializes in magical realism and historical reimagining. After launching her Emmy-winning career on Tumble Leaf, she co-founded independent animation studio Apartment D, producing stop motion series for Monster High, American Girl, and Sanrio.
