East Elliott is a London-based filmmaker and recent graduate of the NYU MFA Filmmaking program, where he was selected as a recipient of the BAFTA-Pigott Scholarship. His short film, From Sidney, With Love, was executive produced by Spike Lee and premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in 2025. Before shooting, Spike invited East to shadow him on the set of Highest 2 Lowest as part of A24's Creative Capture Program, which led to a short documentary East directed, released by A24. His previous film, TERMINAL, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024 as part of the La Cinef program.
