Based on a true story, FROM SIDNEY, WITH LOVE follows Rilla, a Black nine-year-old from an all-white town in Yorkshire, and her quest to be reunited with the man she believes to be her father, actor Sidney Poitier. Following a fight with her world-weary older brother, she boards a train and makes her way to London, hoping to be greeted by the one family member she feels will truly understand her.
