Kangding Ray takes his techno score for Sirât and builds something new from it, pushing far past the soundtrack into a live work of its own. Director Óliver Laxe presents mesmerising, unseen footage shot on set. This isn't a live score, it's the world of the film pulled apart and rebuilt for one night only, in a converted torpedo warehouse on the edge of the Feeder Canal, a gantry crane still slung above the crowd. Soundsystem culture, spiritual longing, bass that pins you to the floor. Bristol knows.

"We want people to feel the images and the sounds with their bodies." - Óliver Laxe

Sirât broke 2025 wide open: Laxe's desert odyssey won the Jury Prize at Cannes and earned two Oscar nominations. The New Yorker called it a harrowing, exhilarating dance of death.

In partnership with Crack x MUBI, and with the support of the BFI Film Audience Network, awarding funds from the National Lottery.
