Jake Kuhn is a London-based filmmaker working as a director, writer and producer. He began in the industry as a production assistant, with credits including Florence Foster Jenkins (2016) and The Haunting of Hill House (2018), before moving into directing with a string of short films including Little Lost (2017), The Last Great Ping Pong Parlour, Flaws (2023) and Guideprice 1100pcm, 1 Bed Flat to Rent (2025). His debut feature, The Peril at Pincer Point (2026), co-directed and co-written with long-time collaborator Noah Stratton-Twine, premiered at the SXSW Film & TV Festival where it won the NEON Auteur Award. The film is produced through their company Gittes-Cross Pictures. He also appears in the film, though by his own cheerful admission he cannot act and spends most of his screen time trying not to smile.
